DMCA Policy for Big Ripper

At Big Ripper, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have established the following procedure to address claims of copyright infringement.

1. Notification of Infringement

  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

2. Response to Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate the claim and take appropriate action. This may include removing the infringing material or disabling access to it.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated copyright agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or access to which has been disabled, along with the location of the material before it was removed or disabled (e.g., URLs).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located, or if you are outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Big Ripper may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement.

We will review all counter-notifications and will work to resolve any disputes accordingly.

4. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, Big Ripper reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers or are found to be repeatedly infringing on the copyrights of others.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our DMCA policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new DMCA policy on this page. You are advised to review this DMCA policy periodically for any changes.
